This is a common sense idea and when we used stack rank, I'd have voted for it would be so much easier .. that said, I'm not voting for it, just in case it gets traction and then some of the other stuff (that I am using) don't get improved.

BUT if it's an easy fix .. and community discussion counts, yes.

Yes! In fact, let's go one step further. Please make it an option in the Sort section for a default view.  Something like the image attached.
